Posted May 21, 2026 by Tricia David

All five starting flights of the Gods of Poker Incheon Main Event have now concluded at Paradise City Casino with a total of 356 entries. Flight D produced the biggest turnout with 122 entries, followed closely by the final turbo heat, Flight E, which drew 99 entries as players rushed in for one last shot at the guarantee and the most coveted trophy of the series.

When Day 2 kicks off on Friday, May 22, the 51 returning players are certain to walk away with a share of the KRW 700,000,000 prize pool. The minimum payout stands at KRW 3,840,000, while the eventual champion is set to claim a massive KRW 148,280,000 (~USD 98,000) payday along with the prestigious wearable Black-and-Gold Gauntlet.

Good news to the players, the structure is extremely playable. Day 2 resumes at blinds of just 6,000-12,000, giving even the shorter stacks plenty of room to pick their spots.

Lester Edoc Leads With A Monster Stack

Lester Edoc

Towering above them all is Filipino pro Lester Edoc, who continued his scorching-hot GOP Incheon run by bagging a monstrous 2,990,000 chips, good for a staggering 249 big blinds.

Edoc has been one of the undeniable stars of the series. He opened the festival with a 3rd place finish at the GOP Olympians, captured the coveted Gold Gauntlet at the Super High Roller, added another victory in a High Roller side event, and now finds himself leading the Main Event heading into the money stages.

Edoc's massive stack was built during the final Flight E where he bulldozed through the field with relentless pressure. He eliminated multiple opponents throughout the day, and became especially dangerous once the bubble approached, constantly leaning on shorter stacks with his mountain of chips.

Although he did pay off one double up to Kohei Suzuki, who woke up with pocket aces, Edoc quickly recovered and resumed his assault before eliminating Masatoshi Akasaka on the bubble to seal the flight.

Sascha Manns

Before Edoc’s late surge, Flight D leader Sascha Manns had briefly occupied the overall top spot after finishing with 2,030,000 chips. That dominating finish ultimately fell behind once Flight E concluded, though Manns still enters Day 2 armed with a very threatening 169 big blinds.
