Last time in Taipei, the Titans ruled.
This September, the arena returns with a little more grace.
From September 18–27, 2026, GOP Taipei II takes flight at CTP Asia Poker Arena for ten days of poker, with a schedule designed to welcome a broader field while keeping the prestige of its biggest events firmly intact.
This season, Aphrodite takes center stage, bringing a different kind of power to the arena. Confidence, patience and knowing exactly when to make your move.
It is a fitting theme for a festival offering players more choice.
Guaranteed events run every day, while more modest buy-in options give recreational players more opportunities to be part of the series without having to start with the major events. Satellites, turbos, mixed games and mid-stakes tournaments add variety throughout the ten days, allowing players to build a schedule around their game, budget and appetite for risk.
GOP Taipei 2026 II - Full Schedule
While GOP Taipei II opens the arena to a wider player pool, the prestige at the top remains.
Five GOP Gauntlets return to Taipei, reserved for the champions of five of the festival’s key events. They have become one of the tour's most recognizable symbols of victory and a mark reserved for the biggest wins of the series.
Plenty of titles will be won over ten days, but only five players will leave with a Gauntlet.
The Main Event was one of the defining stories of GOP’s first Taipei stop, where Chih Wei Fan emerged as champion, conquering the field to claim the season’s most coveted title.
This September, a new field gets its chance to follow in his footsteps.
As the largest guaranteed prize pool on the GOP Taipei II schedule, the GOP Main Event will once again serve as the centerpiece of the festival.
With NT$17 million guaranteed, the event brings the entire field together. Recreational players taking their shot, satellite qualifiers earning their way in, seasoned regulars and High Rollers will all be chasing the same title and the festival’s esteemed GOP Gauntlet.
Five starting flights offer different ways to approach the Main Event, with structures ranging from the extended Flight B to faster options later in the week. It gives players the flexibility to choose the pace that best suits their game before the surviving field comes together for Day 2, and the final push toward a new Taipei champion.
Beyond the Main Event, there is plenty more to chase. The Titan Stack High Roller, GOP High Roller, Super High Roller and Demigods Challenge keep the bigger stakes rolling, while the Titan Stack, Mini Main Event and Kraken Stack give players more chances to make a run as the festival heads into its closing stretch.
| Date/s | Event | Buy-in |
| Sept 18-19 | Titan Stack High Roller | NT$ 110,000 (~US$ 3,500) |
| Sept 20-21 | GOP High Roller | NT$ 165,000 (~US$ 5,250) |
| Sept 22-27 | GOP Main Event - NT$ 17,000,000 GTD | NT$ 33,000 (~US$ 1,050) |
| Sept 22-23 | GOP Super High Roller | NT$ 220,000 (~US$ 7,000) |
| Sept 24 | Demigods Challenge | NT$ 320,000 (~US$ 10,180) |
| Sept 24-25 | Titan Stack | NT$ 11,000 (~US$ 350) |
| Sept 26-27 | GOP Mini Main Event | NT$ 16,500 (~US$ 525) |
| Sept 27 | Kraken Stack | NT$ 19,800 (~US$ 630) |
If the first Taipei series belonged to the Titans, GOP Taipei II changes the mood.
Aphrodite leads this chapter, bringing a little more grace to an arena already familiar with power.
You do not need to arrive in Taipei with the Main Event or a High Roller as your starting point. Build your week around the daily guarantees. Find your game in the mid-stakes schedule. Mix things up with Omaha or Big O. Take a satellite shot at something bigger when the opportunity feels right.
For recreational players in particular, that creates a more approachable way to experience the full festival. A modest buy-in can be the beginning of the trip rather than the limit of it.
One good run can lead to another event. A satellite can lead to the Main. And a few days planned at the tables can quickly turn into a much longer stay.
For players chasing bigger stakes, the other end of the schedule is never far away. High Rollers run throughout the festival, while the Main Event, Titan Stack and Mini Main give the entire field major titles to circle.
Different bankrolls. Different games. Different ambitions.
Same arena.
And with Aphrodite at the center of this chapter, perhaps the lesson is simple: you do not always need to overpower the field.
Sometimes, you just need to pick your moment.
GOP Taipei II takes what worked the first time and opens the arena a little wider.
Come for a weekend. Chase the daily guarantees. Satellite into the Main. Step up in stakes after a good run. Or arrive with the biggest events already circled.
There is room to take a shot without always having to take the biggest shot.
But at the top, the standard remains the same.
Five GOP Gauntlets, five champions, and ten days to earn your place among them.
Play your cards right.
