Posted July 20, 2026 by Kira Yang

The countdown has officially begun.

In just one month, the Grand Ballroom at City of Dreams Manila will welcome players from across the continent as Gods of Poker presents GOP Manila 2026: The Arena of Champions, taking place from August 21 to 30.

Already shaping up to be one of the Philippines' most internationally supported poker festivals, GOP Manila 2026 continues to attract strong backing from leading poker communities across Asia. Players from Japan, South Korea, and Thailand, in addition to the local market, are preparing to make the journey to Manila for ten days of championship poker, international competition, and unforgettable experiences both on and off the felt.

Asia Comes Together

Among the key organizations supporting this season's festivities are Japan Poker Player Services (JPPS), Lucky Poker Tour, which is spearheading the Korean contingent, and Zodiac Series of Poker (ZSOP) from Thailand.

Together, these organizations are helping bring a strong international field to Manila, reinforcing GOP's vision of creating a truly pan-Asian poker festival where players from different countries come together to compete on one stage.

Their combined support is expected to bring hundreds of travelling players throughout the series, creating larger fields, tougher competition, and an electric international atmosphere from the opening events through the ₱30 million guaranteed Main Event.

GOP x ZSOP Partnership Extends to Taipei

The partnership between Gods of Poker (GOP) and Zodiac Series of Poker (ZSOP) continues at GOP Manila 2026, with another international opportunity awaiting the GOP x ZSOP Mini Main Event champion.

Along with the title, the champion will receive a ZSOP Taipei Main Event Package worth TWD 52,000, approximately PHP 100,000, carved out of the Mini Main Event prize pool. The package will take the winner from Manila to ZSOP Taipei, running September 3–14, 2026 at Asia Poker Arena, with a Main Event seat, hotel stay, and tournament credit included.

Package Includes:

  • ZSOP Main Event Seat — TWD 25,000
  • 5 Nights Hotel Accommodation — TWD 18,000
  • ZSOP Tournament Credit — TWD 9,000
  • Total Package Value — TWD 52,000 (approximately PHP 100,000)

Package Terms:

  • The package is fully transferable.
  • The package has no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash.
  • Hotel accommodation is subject to the organizer’s designated property and booking arrangements.

The added package builds on the partnership between GOP and ZSOP, giving the Mini Main Event champion the chance to follow up their Manila run with another major event in Taipei.

Above and Beyond

For Gods of Poker, these partnerships represent far more than increased attendance.

They reflect a shared commitment to growing poker throughout Asia by making international competition more accessible and strengthening the connections between poker communities across the region.

As more players choose to travel for major festivals, collaboration between tours, player services, and poker organizations has become increasingly important. By working together, GOP, JPPS, Lucky Poker, and ZSOP are creating more opportunities for players to experience different poker markets, build new friendships, and compete against some of Asia's best.

The result is a festival that welcomes everyone, from local enthusiasts taking their first shot at a major title to seasoned professionals chasing another championship.

The Arena of Champions Awaits

GOP Manila 2026 features 82 trophy events backed by ₱60 million in guaranteed prize pools, headlined by the ₱30 million guaranteed Main Event. Throughout the ten-day festival, players will compete for the iconic GOP Gauntlets and titles across a schedule designed for every bankroll and every style of play.
