Last updated at May 20, 2026

The Gods of Poker (GOP) Player of the Series celebrates consistency, dominance, and the spirit of competition across the entire series. Every event contributes to your total score, rewarding players who demonstrate both endurance and excellence consistently across the schedule.

Rank Base Point Event Type
A 130 Main Event
B 125 Multi-Day High Roller
C 120 Multi-Day Event
D 105 Single-Day High Roller
E 100 Single-Day Event
F 85 Turbo High Roller
G 80 Turbo Event

* Events with fewer than 2 entries will not qualify for Player of the Series points.

Formula

Base Point × √Number of Buy-ins Won × 10 = Player Points

Where:

  • Number of buy-ins won = Prize won ÷ Buy-in (funds to prize pool)
  • Base Point is based on the event classification (A–G).

This formula ensures that performance in both large-scale and side events are valued, while major victories carry greater weight through their higher base points.

Qualification

Players must achieve a minimum of three (3) cashes during the series to qualify for the Player of the Series leaderboard.

Tie-Break Rule

In the event of a tie in total points, the player with the greater number of cashes will be ranked higher. If a tie still remains, the player with the greater number of trophies won will be declared the winner. If still tied, the ranking will be determined by the number of runner-up finishes, followed by 3rd place finishes, and so on as needed to break the tie.

Sample Calculation

If a player wins a prize equivalent to 20 buy-ins in a Multi-Day event (C):

  • Number of buy-ins won = 20
  • Formula: 105 × √20 × 10 = 4,696 Points

At the conclusion of each series, the Top 3 players on the Gods of Poker Player of the Series Leaderboard will be honored for their outstanding achievements.

Fair Play Policy

To protect the integrity and fairness of the Player of the Series competition: No player may enter into any agreement, deal, or arrangement that alters the official prize structure of an event for the purpose of gaining, preserving, or manipulating Player of the Series points. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Chopping or redistributing remaining prize money
  • Creating additional payouts not listed in the official payout structure
  • Side agreements that affect finishing positions or point allocation

Any such deal, whether verbal or written, that is determined by tournament management to influence Player of the Series standings may result in immediate disqualification from the Player of the Series race, without affecting the player’s right to prize money already awarded.

Tournament Management’s decision is final.

The Spirit of the Series

The Player of the Series title is not just about winning — it represents mastery, discipline, and persistence across every stage of battle. Each leaderboard contender stands shoulder-to-shoulder as the Champions of Olympus, players who chased greatness, endured the grind, and reached for something bigger than a single win.
