Open Face Chinese Progressive (Round Robin)

Gameplay Structure:

• Event is played with 2 Jokers (Wild Cards)
• Number of Players: 20 Max
• Scoring: 1,000 per point / 200,000 starting stack (points will not increase).
• Bracketing: 4 brackets of 3-5 players will be created in round 1 to qualify 8 players to round 2.
• Round Robin: Each player in a bracket will match up playing 15 hands each (+ possible continuation of fanstasy land) / top 2 players with points from each bracket will advance to each round.
• Jokers: Acts as any card and can be used to qualify for fantasy land.
• Fantasy Land Limit: Unlimited fantasy land and jokers can be used to retain fantasy land.
• Action Clock: 30 seconds per action / 60 seconds in fantasy after opponent has set hand / 90 seconds if both players are in fantasy land.
• Time Banks: 3 per round (30 seconds each).
• Overtime Penalty: After all time banks are used: –2 pts per 30 seconds (max –6 pts). Hand dead after 3rd infraction.
• Fantasy Land Entry: Top: QQ+
• Fantasy Land # of Cards: QQ = 14 cards, KK = 15 cards, AA = 16 cards, Trips = 17 cards / Retaining fantasy land = same number of cards dealt when entering.
• Scoop Bonus: +3 pts for winning all 3 rows.
• Tiebreaker: A single hand will be played to determnine who advances.

Round Robin Stages ( Rounds 1-3) Final Round Heads Up Best of 3

• Round 1 - 12-20 players / 4 brackets of 3-5 players / top 2 will advance from each bracket
• Round 2 - 8 players / 2 brackets of 4 players / top 2 will advance from each bracket
• Round 3 - 4 players (ITM) / 1 bracket of 4 players / top 2 will advance to final round and the bottom 2 will play a single set to determine 3rd place and 4th place.
• Final Round - Final 2 players will play 20 hands a set and best of 3 to determine who is 1st place and 2nd place.

• Starts at Pair of Sixes up to Pair of Aces / 1 point up to 9 points
• Starts at Trip Deuces up to Trip Aces / 10 points up to 22 points

Retaining Fantasy Land

• Quads or better on the bottom or Trips on top

Mechanics:

• Start of Each Set: To start seat, the button will be determined by a high card.
• Creating Brackets: Full redraw at the start of each round to create each bracket.
